MONDAY MUSINGS - Women's History Month celebrates Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai is Pakistani activist who, while a teenager, spoke out publicly against the Taliban’s prohibition on the education of girls.

Malala Yousafzai was only 11 years old when she blogged for the BBC about living in Pakistan while the Taliban was threatening to close girls' schools. She was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman in 2012, but survived and went on to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. Yousafzai is youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate.
